Director and Construction Manager
Brett has over 20 years of expertise and knowledge within the electrical industry. Brett and David launched D&B Electrical together in 1996 after Brett completed his electrical apprenticeship at Nilson Electrical Pty Ltd.
Brett has taken D&B Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd from primarily domestic installations and grown the company to include:
- Design and contract to client’s expectations
- Public Lighting – New installation, maintenance and repair
- Commercial – Installation, maintenance and repairs
- Industrial – Installation, maintenance and repair
- Property Management – maintaining a large property portfolio for a number of Property Management agencies
- Open Spaces – Sports lighting installation, maintenance and repairs

David Polglase
Senior Design Consultant
Our team has the benefit of including a Senior Design Consultant in David Polglase, with extensive experience in the electrical industry built upon his 30 year service with ETSA, culminating in an Electrical Inspector role inspecting electrical installations for compliance with ETSA. standards and SAA Wiring Rules standards.
Involved with small domestic installations right through to design and construct for large commercial/industrial installations, such as the South Australian Submarine Corporation and the AMP/Origin Building Refurb.
During ETSA the privatisation transition David became Licensing Officer both for E.T.S.A. and The Office of Consumer and Business Affairs.
David plays an integral role within D&B Electrical as a project officer managing:
-Testing and inspections
-Handover of major projects
-Infrastructure design and recommendations
-Liaising with SAPN and other major stakeholders in the above
David also has an advanced knowledge of SAPN rules and tariffs, assisting customers in cost effective outcomes for their businesses and delivering appropriate design specifications.
